Title: Under Pressure
Name: Akira Hanzo
Country: Romania
Software: 3ds max, Vray

The modeling was done entirely with 3ds max,
by using polymodeling. The textures, including the label,
were made in Photoshop handpainting. The lighting does not contain any special light and was obtained only with a HDRI.The final render was slightly adjusted with Photoshop.

The character represents the ordinary man who can only
protect himself from daily pressure and stress by wearing
a protection suit. Nevertheless, everyone breaks down once
in a while...
Comments are most welcome. Thanks

This is a kind of hybrid being of the future. His name is Inochi (meaning 'life' ) and since he is alone I thought of creating a match for him: Shinochi. In this way we can see Shinochi as an android Eve...
I create this image after a wonderfull oil painting of Ralph Goings with name "Waldorf Restaurant", painted in 1976. My work was modeled in 3ds max with polygons in aproximative 8 hours and texturing in 5 hours... Rendering took 30 minutes with Vray. I try to reconstruct the perspective and the strange light...
I hope you like it!
